Netanyahu’s Work Cut Out For Him….

Before his departure from Israel for the U.S. Saturday night, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared with reporters, “I will tell the truth in the face of the sweet-talk and onslaught of smiles.”
According to a senior diplomatic source in Jerusalem, the goal of Mr. Netanyahu’s visit is, “to expose the Iranian lie at the United Nations. Netanyahu fears they’re heading toward a bad agreement with Iran, and if this is the situation, he prefers there be no agreement whatsoever.”
The Israeli Prime Minister had expressed concern over a recent telephone conversation between President Obama and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, a first since the Iranian revolution in 1979. Mr. Netanyahu is suspicious of Rouhani, and believes that Iran, despite this seemingly positive communication, is continuing to build its nuclear weapons capability which threatens Israel.
Netanyahu advised his spokesmen and reporters to refrain from giving interviews or making public statements regarding the call prior to his meeting with President Obama on Monday at the White House. The meeting will focus on Iran.
Later on Monday, Mr. Netanyahu will meet with Vice President Joe Biden, as well as with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.
On Tuesday afternoon the Israeli Prime Minister will address the U.N. General Assembly, concentrating on the Palestinian peace process and Iran in his speech.
